Some of the best kebabs in Sydney. Hands down. The Adana kebab is perfectly spiced and juicy, the lamb is melt in your mouth and the chicken is succulent. And don't forget to get their smoky home made chilli sauce

I am not a local, but stumbled upon this place while visiting another local shop. Since then I have returned many times even though it is not geographically convenient. Despite the name, it is far more than just a kebab shop. While you can get an excellent kebab, there is much more on offer. They bake their own bread and pide and BBQ all their skewered meat over charcoal. There is also plenty of eat in and alfresco tables (always full - for good reason). The atmosphere is informal, busy, and family friendly. They have loads of staff, all working flat out to keep up with their many customers. My teenage children, who are champion eaters, shared a mixed plate (lamb, beef and chicken) and struggled to finish a massive slice of fresh pizza. The BBQ'd meat on the mixed plates was delicious and accompanied by plenty of salad, sauces, condiments and fresh bread. We waddled out full, but spent only about 20 per head.

New Star Kebabs in Auburn has been a go-to spot for years, and today’s visit was no exception. Despite the rain, I came here for lunch with the guys, and as always, it was packed. This time, we opted to sit outside, which added a nice change to the experience. If you’re craving delicious bread, shish, and kebabs, this is definitely the place to satisfy your hunger. Consistently great food and a reliable choice for this style of cuisine!

I have been there twice in the last few days. The food is amazingly delicious. I was just walking by, and the smell was so tempting that I couldn’t resist trying it. The customer service is not exceptional, but I don’t mind if they’re not always smiling as long as they’re not rude. The place is mostly very busy, but they’re making delicious food, and that’s the most important thing. Definitely 5 stars, and I will go again and again.

I’ve been coming to New Star for years and the iskender has always been a must-have. The wait-time was minimal and the food was clean. I would highly recommend this dish and this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in authentic Turkish cuisine in Sydney.

My new favorite go-to place! Absolutely loved the Mixed HSP with Sweet Chilli, Peri Peri, and Mayo. The kebab meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The place was very crowded, and the staff were really struggling to handle the crowd, but it’s worth it. Highly recommended!

Top 5 best mixed plates I've ever had, juicy perfectly cooked meat. The Kiymali Pide / Lahmacun wastasty, a small is like a large everywhere else. Will be back and bringing more friends.

Literally the best shish ever 100% recommended. Nice charcoal flavour with lovely seasoning. Dips and breads are wonderful too!
